Peer Mediation held Cornucopia, the annual fall carnival held the day before Thanksgiving break, on Nov. 22 in the large and small gyms. This year’s event included tables for clubs to promote their causes and various events, including the popular sumo wrestling, inflatable obstacle courses, rock climbing, a Velcro Wall and food for sale. Peer Mediators helped run the event, selling tickets and food, running the events and sewing for ConKerr Cancer. Overall, the event allowed students to relax the day before break, as they were invited to come down during free periods or go down with their classes if their teacher permitted them to do so, while also getting a better understanding of some of the many clubs at Conestoga.
